High Resolution Images CD-ROM Instructions

PC / MAC - Place the disc into your CD or DVD drive. Your portraits are stored in a folder named 'IMAGES'. Double click each image to view your portraits, or open in your favourite Image Editing software (not supplied).

Are all my Graduation Portraits included on the disc?

When you purchase a CD product you will be asked at checkout to list your 6 digit Customer Code/s. Any photos you appear in will be included on the CD-ROM*. A maximum of 3 Customer Codes (for one graduate) per disc is allowed*. You can also choose to have your Stage Crossing photo added to your CD.

Can I put multiple Graduates on the one CD?

No. The images on the CD must be for one Graduate and family only. Images for other Graduates will be ignored and not added to your CD.

 

What size/format are the images?

The images contained on the disc are supplied as high resolution TIFF files (2500x1600 pixels approx 10Mb uncompressed). They are suitable for high quality print reproduction. The images are colour balanced for monitor use and may need to be corrected to suit your printer's output.

 

Can I take my CD to a store to have the photos printed?

Silver Rose Photography grants you, and/or another provider permission to reproduce these images for personal use. Silver Rose Photography can not be held responsible for the quality of print/photo produced from the images by the customer, or another provider. Return the disc to Silver Rose Photography at any time in the future for quality photographic reproductions of your images.

 

What software do I need to view the images on my computer?

Most modern computers come with software that will enable you to easily view and edit your photos. The CD also includes Imaging Software which will enable you to edit and print your photos. The software is provided free of charge and is compatible with Win2000 / XP / Vista. Please consult the help files installed on your computer for more information on printing your photos.

 

Can I make copies of the High Resolution Images CD-ROM to share with my family and friends?

Yes. You are allowed to copy the CD for your own personal use.

Graduation Ceremony DVD (only available to University Of Queensland)

  • The DVD is recorded on high quality DVD media in a PAL format. International customers should satisfy themselves that the PAL format is compatible with their DVD Player and/or Television prior to purchase.
  • The disc is coded as Region 0 allowing playback in DVD players worldwide.
  • The disc will playback on any DVD-R compatible DVD player or DVD-ROM drive. Over 98% of modern DVD players are compatible.
